A Wedding to Remember: Chicago Meets Seattle

The wedding that etched an indelible mark on my portfolio! Featured a delightful couple from Chicago, whom were born and raised in Seattle. Their story was a beautiful blend of their past and present! Perfectly reflecting their journey together. The 101, with its Seattle roots and ability to transform into any couple’s dream venue.

As the night drew to a close at their unforgettable wedding celebration, Molly and Matt wanted to honor their heritage with a vibrant and joyous Hora dance. Bringing an electrifying energy to the final moments of their special day! Surrounded by the laughter and smiles of their loved ones, they were lifted high above the crowd, as the exhilarating music filled the space. This traditional dance, a symbol of community and celebration, perfectly encapsulated the unity and love present among the guests and the newlyweds. As they circled faster and faster, hands clasped tightly, the room echoed with the sounds of happiness and jubilation. Creating a memorable finale that beautifully tied back to their roots. Leaving everyone with a sense of warmth and togetherness that perfectly concluded the celebration.

Collaborating with Amber from Wild Felt Photo, the day was filled with capturing intimate moments around Pioneer Square’s iconic corners. This historic part of Seattle provided a stunning contrast to the couple’s vibrant celebration, with its cobblestone streets and vintage buildings covered in vines serving as a picturesque backdrop for their love story. Amber’s expertise in finding those quiet, intimate spaces allowed us to create a visual narrative that was as unique as the couple themselves.

A Nod to Chicago: Unique Culinary Delights

In a delightful twist that paid homage to their Chicago roots. Mollie & Matt chose to have a Seattle based hot dog vendor, Dantes Inferno Dogs. Served as their late night snack! This quirky and fun element not only surprised and pleased guests. But also added a personal touch to the wedding, highlighting the couple’s desire to blend their past with their present. It was these personal details that made the wedding at The 101 not just an event, but a story worth telling.
