Marissa and Matthew’s day at Twin Oaks Golf Course was truly unforgettable. Every element of the wedding was carefully curated, thanks to the expert planning by Knots and Belles. From breathtaking floral arrangements to golden hour magic, their wedding was a beautiful celebration of love, laughter, and vibrant color.

A Floral Dream by Long Stem Disco
The day began with a moment that brought everyone to tears — including Marissa herself. Early in the morning, the talented team at Long Stem Disco delivered the bridal bouquet, an arrangement so exquisite it left Marissa stunned and emotional. Known for her bold use of color and intricate designs, Rachel outdid herself with floral installations that filled the venue with vibrant hues and an air of romance. The aisle was lined with colorful blooms to the breathtaking floral arch framing the couple as they exchanged vows.
One of my favorite new trends of 2024 was the vibrancy of color intertwined in an elevated way. The bridesmaids all had one specific color, and held a monochrome bouquet. Each flower featured with each bridesmaid came together to create a stunning, multi-colored bridal bouquet.
I believe that the floral installations can really the tone for the day. Every detail reflected Marissa and Matthew’s joyful personalities, creating an atmosphere that was equal parts elegant and playful.

Collaboration is at the heart of every successful wedding shoot, and working alongside Amanda, talented photographer of Mirage and Light was a highlight of the day. Together, we seamlessly navigated the gorgeous Twin Oaks Golf Course, capturing every heartfelt glance and candid laugh. Amanda’s expertise in creating dreamy compositions perfectly complemented my videography style, allowing us to document the couple’s love story from every angle.
One of the standout moments was during golden hour, that magical time just before sunset when the light softens into a golden glow. We brought Marissa and Matthew outside for some intimate shots, and the results were nothing short of spectacular. As the sun dipped behind the horizon, their silhouettes against the vibrant sky created a scene straight out of a fairytale.
Beauty in Every Detail
The stunning hairstyles by Stephanie Gardner Styles and Curly Camille complimented the flawless makeup by Lacie. Marissa was truly glowing from the inside out!
The choice of Twin Oaks Golf Course as the venue was ideal. Its lush greenery, elegant architecture, and serene ambiance provided the perfect canvas for the day’s events. The experience was lovely for the guests from the very start. A heartfelt ceremony, leading to the lively cocktail hour, and ending with the dance floor that stayed packed late into the night. The venue played an integral role in creating lasting memories.

As a wedding videographer, my goal is to capture not just the big moments but also the subtle, fleeting ones that tell a couple’s unique story.
